Nanyuan Hotel Ningbo, Ningbo

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip and found the rooms to be a great value, clean, and spacious. The service was mostly friendly and helpful, except for one housekeeper encounter that was a bit off. The location was good but a bit far from the center, and the dining options were diverse but not ideal for specific dietary needs. Overall, a decent stay with a few drawbacks.

The hotel is situated in the Grand Building, offering clean and spacious rooms but not extravagant like those in major US cities. The cleanliness is exceptional. The staff members are friendly and attentive, making the stay pleasant. The location allows easy access to the main shopping area and transportation hubs, although some areas would benefit from renovation. The dining experience is diverse and enjoyable, particularly for the Jain community.

Staying at the Grand Building on the 5th-floor club level was a great experience. I enjoyed the free daily breakfast and hors d'oeuvres. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, although not huge. The service was exceptional, going above and beyond to cater to every need, even returning items I had left behind. The location in both Shanghai and Beijing was very convenient, with easy access to authentic attractions and shopping areas. However, the dining options leaned more towards Chinese cuisine, which might not suit all tastes.
